The Methacton Lady Warriors opened their 2012-13 season with a hard fought victory over PW. The Lady Warriors came out on fire. After falling behind 3-2, the Lady Warriors would go on a 17-0 run to end the 1st quarter. PW recovered to tighten the game up and actually close the score to 47-42 early in the fourth quarter. But the Lady Warriors would go on a 15-8 run in the final minutes to seal the victory. Junior Jenna Carroll was the star of the game with 26 points on 13 of 16 shooting from the field. She also had 8 rebounds and 6 steals. The Lady Warriors advanced to the Championship game of their tournament where they will take on Council Rock South at 4:30 PM on Saturday.
