The game went down to the wire – three times, in fact – before Boyertown finally pulled out a 66-65 win in double overtime. Kaitlyn Eisenhard provided the deciding point when she sank the second of two free throws with two seconds left and Kaitlyn DeHaven intercepted a pass for the Bears just beyond midcourt as time expired.

Jenna Carroll led the Warriors (2-2, 8-3) with 22 points, including 14-for-16 shooting from the free throw line, and Sarah Sherman drilled five 3-pointers for all of her 15 points.

The Lady Warriors never trailed in the first half and led by as many as seven points early in the second quarter before the Bears came back for a 27-all tie at the intermission. Then Boyertown led much of the second half and held a 48-43 advantage with 1:30 to go, but a three-point bomb from the left corner by Sherman with 15 seconds to go and two free throws by Carroll with three seconds left sent the game into overtime.

The Bears opened up a five-point lead early in the first four-minute extra session before the hosts rallied again and took a two-point margin after two from the line by Carroll with eight seconds left. But Eisenhard drove the length of the court for a basket to force another OT, tied at 57.

Then Methacton led by a 65-60 score with 1:33 left in the second overtime after a three-point play by Kara Steinke. But Cavallo hit a short baseline jumper off a pass from Eisenhard and DeHaven tied it with a three-pointer from just outside the top of the circle. The Warriors had a chance to go back on top, but missed two shots and DeHaven rebounded and the Bears called a time out with eight seconds left.

Once again, Eisenhard took the inbounds pass and drove coast-to-coast, this time drawing a foul out on the right wing and converting the winning shot from the line.
