The Lady Warriors traveled to Pope John Paul II High School Saturday night for a match-up with the Frontier Division leading 10-3 Panthers. Leading by a mere point going into the final quarter, the Lady Warriors suddenly exploded, outscoring PJP 20-4 in that last frame to turn a close game into a rout in the final minutes and come away with a big 52-35 victory. It was the fifth straight win for the Lady Warriors who now stand at 13-3 overall and 7-2 in the PAC-10.
The Lady Warriors Senior Forward Kelsey Watson played a huge role in the victory scoring 23 points and going 13-for-17 from the free-throw line. Junior Kelly Glatthorn added in 11 points, while Senior Sarah Sherman had 8 points, Junior Kara Steinke had 6 points and Junior Jenna Carroll had 4 points and 11 rebounds. The Lady Warriors will next be in action Wednesday night when they travel to Souderton for a non-league match-up with the 8-4 Indians.
