Lady Warriors grab victory vs Merion Mercy Academy

The Lady Warriors used an improved second half defensive effort to break away from a 31-31 halftime deadlock and earned a non-league victory over Merion Mercy 59-47. The win put the teams record at 5-2 on the season. Kelly Glatthorn hit for 11 of her 16 points in the second half to spark the Lady Warriors.
Jenna Carroll finished with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 6 blocks as the Lady Warriors posted a 28-16 scoring advantage after intermission. Also delivering solid efforts for the winners were Ryan DeOrio (13 points, 2 treys) and Tejarra Ellis (9 rebounds, 8 points).
The Lady Warriors next action will be Saturday December 28th in Wildwood, NJ at the Wildwood Convention Center in the Boardwalk Basketball Classic. The team will take on 2-0 Wildwood Catholic at 8:45 pm on Saturday. The team will play in the Fran St. John Bracket and will face either Sanford (DE) or Washington Township (NJ) on Sunday depending on Saturday's outcome vs Wildwood Catholic.
