Jenna Carroll posted a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds and Kelly Glatthorn delivered 19 points as the Lady Warriors ended Spring-Ford’s 41-game PAC-10 winning streak with a 47-43 victory.
The Lady Warriors clinched a PAC-10 Final Four playoff berth and improved to 10-2 in the league and 14-5 overall with the electrifying victory. The Lady Warriors are returning to the Final Four for the third straight year and the fifth time in six years as a member of the PAC-10.
The Rams drew within 20-18 at the half after falling behind 12-2 in the first quarter. Despite that strong rebound, Spring-Ford could never get over the top. Four times in the third quarter the Rams pulled to within one but the Lady Warriors never gave up the lead in the game.
