The Lady Warriors took on perenial District 1 powerhouse Mount Saint Joseph for the second straight year in the Lady Warrior Classic Championship game on Saturday at Methacton High School.  Unfortunately for the Lady Warriors a spirited effort fell short again as the Magic took the tourney title over the Lady Warriors 38-27.  The first half of the game was a defensive show down with both teams hold each other to low scoring numbers.  The Lady Warriors held a 13-9 lead at the half, as Sophomore guard Ryan DeOrio drained a three at the buzzer to send the Lady Warriors charging into the locker room.  The second half started with the Magic turning up their trademark full court man to man pressure defensive and the Lady Warriors struggled to score seeing the Magic control the quarter by a score of 15-3.  Trailing by 8 heading into the final quarter the Lady Warriors did not fold getting it back to with 2 with just over 4 minutes to play.  But the Magic were able to hold off the Lady Warriors from ever getting to lead back to take the title.  Senior Gabby Falcone lead the way for the Lady Warriors with 11 points and 6 rebounds.  Her 21 point-12 rebound performance in the tournament earned her a spot on the All-Tournament team.  The team record now stands at 1-1 on the season as they head into Tuesday nights PAC-10 home opener vs Boyertown.
