Penjuke leads Lady Warriors into bracket championship in Wildwood

Junior Abby Penjuke collected 18 points and 7 rebounds as the Lady Warriors (4-5) used a quick start and balanced scoring attack to capture their opener in the GWTIDA Bracket at the Wildwood (NJ) Boardwalk Classic Tuesday.
Also for the Lady Warriors, which faces Ocean City (NJ) Wednesday (6:45 pm) for the bracket championship, Seniors Nicole Cooper and Olivia Pennypacker scored 12 points, Senior Jill Zerbe nailed two triples en route to 10 points and Sophomore Sydney Tornetta stuffed the stat sheet with 9 rebounds, 7 points and 5 assists.
The Lady Warriors raced out to a 38-12 halftime lead and put things away with a 23-4 run in the third quarter.
