The Methacton Boys Basketball team defeated Bensalem by a score of 67-49 in the opening round of the PIAA District-One playoffs on Friday night. Brendan Casper and Matt Forrest led the way with 16 points each, while Zach Jenkins and Sean Mann joined them in double figures with 10 apiece. Brendan Casper added 12 rebounds and 7 assists in the winning effort. With the win, Methacton moves to 21-4 on the season. Next up for the Warriors is a second round district playoff game against Souderton on Tuesday at 7:00 PM.
