The Methacton Boys Basketball team defeated Souderton by a score of 54-45 in the second round of the PIAA District-One playoffs on Tuesday night. With the win, Methacton is guaranteed a spot in the PIAA State playoffs for the first time in school history. Brendan Casper led the way with 22 points and 12 rebounds, while Matt Forrest added 16 points, including 4 three pointers. The Warriors record now stands at 22-4 on the season. Next up is a quarterfinal match-up at Great Valley on Friday at 7:00 PM.
