PENNRIDGE TIP-OFF TOURNAMENT: 23
The Methacton Boys Basketball team opened the season with a 52-23 win vs. Saucon Valley on Friday night in the opening round of the Pennridge Memorial Tip-Off Tournament. The victory was keyed by a strong team defensive effort. Methacton held Saucon Valley to 30% shooting from the field on only 30 shot attempts. Brendan Casper led a balanced scoring attack with 14 points, while Matt Forrest and Geoff Wittenberg each chipped in with 8 points. Methacton will take on host Pennridge in the championship game at 7:00 PM on Saturday night.
