The Methacton Boys Basketball team defeated Phoenixville in the second round of the PIAA District One playoffs by a score of 64-54 on Tuesday night. Sean Mann and Chris McCarthy led the way with 17 points a piece and Tom Dyer joined them in double figures with 16. With the win Methacton improves to 23-3 on the season and earns a spot in the PIAA State Playoffs. Next up for the Warriors is a game on Friday or Saturday against the winner of Downingtown West - Pennsbury.
