SPRING-FORD SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 0
The Warriors defeated Spring-Ford today by a final score of 11-0. The Warriors were led by their freshmen duo on the mound and at the plate. Andy Faulkner recorded his 2nd win of the season with a complete game, 2 hit shutout while posting 4 Ks. Between keeping the batters off balance and shutting down the running game, the Rams were held at bay. The offense was led by SS Erik Marberger, who went 4 for 5, 2 runs scored and an RBI. Tim Carfrey also recorded a multi-hit game going 2 for 3, scoring twice and also with a RBI. Finally, catcher Zach Jenkins came up with the big hit in the first inning driving in 2 runs on a single to right while finish 1 for 3 with 3 RBIs for the game. The Warriors played a solid game defensively, led by Kyle Feaster's streak of driving catches in 3 consecutive games and remained patience at the plate in the win. The team returns to action on Wednesday against Phoenixville at 4:00 home on the lower field.
