The Warriors (13-2-1) split the season series with Boyertown with a 9-1  win Friday afternoon.  A strong pitching performance by Reed Hostrander led the Warriors. Hostrander threw a complete game, scattering 5 hits, with 3 K's coupled with an overall strong defensive performance by himself and the team. One of the defenseive highlights was RF Andy Faulkner's diving grab in foul territory.  Offensively the Warriors were led by Austin Bregman (2 for 3, 2 runs), Greg Pellicano (1 for 3, 2 RBI double), Taylor LeSage (2 for 3, 2 RBI Double), Tim Carfrey (1 for 2, 3 RBI) and Zach Jenkins (2 RBI, 2 Sac Fly). The Warriors went up early by scoring 4 runs in the 1st, with Kyle Feaster (1 for 2, 2 Runs, 2 SBs) and Erik Marbeger scoring on a Carfrey single, which was followed up by Pellicano's drive to right center that scored Carfrey and Bregman. LeSage plated Bregman and Jim Shomberg in the 3rd inning with his double down the right field line. The Warriors next 3 runs came via Sacrifice Flys from Carfrey (4th inning) and Jenkins twice (3rd and 5th ) to finalize the scoring on the day. The Warriors play Spring-Ford at home on Tuesday, with the season ender Wednesday at Phoenixville.
