The Warriors defeated Phoenixville by a final score of 12-4 on Wednesday afternoon.  Freshmen Andy Faulkner earned the win on the mound going 6 innings, allowing 4 earned runs, 4 hits, and six strikeouts,.  Owen McCue pitched a scoreless and hitless final frame in relief.  The offense got the day started with the first 5 hitters all reaching base safely and scoring, which was highlighted by Kyle Feaster's leadoff double and Zach Jenkins(2 for 2, RBI) RBI single.  The Warriors were at it again in the 2nd inning as they tallied another 2 runs scoring on a RBI single of Austin Bregman (4 for 5, 4 runs scored) and a fielding miscue on Jim Shomberg's hit.  In the 5th, Greg Pellicano drove in Austin Bregman, who lead the inning off with an double, on an RBI single.  In the 6th the Warriors put away any hopes of a Phoenixville rally by adding 4 runs led by the extra base hit barrage of Tim Carfrey's RBI triple to score Erik Marberger (2 for 3, 3 runs) who singled earlier.  This was followed by Austin's Bregman's RBI triple who would score on Shomberg's sac fly next.  John Wiedemeyer would then double and finish the scoring on the day on Luke Muscara's sac fly.  The Warriors play their final game of the JV season today, home against Spring-Ford.
