Arcola defeated Pottsgrove on Thursday 35-23 to improve to 11-4 on the season. The defense was excellent only allowing 23 points and Nathan Courtney dominated the glass with 10 rebounds during the game. Matt Blakemore and Nolan McCloskey each finished with 10 points. Nolan was 8-8 from the free throw line in the 4th quarter.

Arcola defeated Phoenixville 42-40 on Friday to improve to 10-4 on the season. The game was locked up 40-40 with 20 seconds left. Michael Lamalfa took the ball and drove to the basket and was fouled with 4 seconds left. He sunk both free throws to give Arcola the lead and the defense forced a turnover with 1 second remaining to win the game. Nolan McCloskey was excellent finishing with 14 points, Brian Dickey and Matt Blakemore both finished wtih 6, and Lamalfa finished with 5.
