The Lady Warriors (9-9) took control with a 19-9 first-quarter burst en route to the nonleague win at the AFBE Showcase. Junior Ryan DeOrio scored eight of her 12 points in the first quarter and Juniors Jenna Cooper and Sydney Thompson added 11 points apiece for Lady Warriors, which led 27-16 at the half and then fended off Fleetwood down the stretch. Fleetwood sliced the Lady Warriors' lead down to 40-38 midway through the fourth. But that's the closest Fleetwood would get down the stretch; DeOrio and Sophomores Olivia Pennypacker and Jill Zerbe all coaxed in game-icing foul shots in the waning seconds for the Lady Warriors, who overcame nine second-half turnovers. . The Lady Warriors undersized to the Abington frontline, gave the 2015 District 1 AAAA runner-ups all they could handle Saturday night in an exciting game at Methacton.  But their great efforts fell short in a 59-51 loss. Ryan DeOrio hit for 14 points and Sydney Thompson added 13 points and 6 rebounds but it wasn’t enough as the Lady Warriors dropped a narrow 42-41 decision to Newark Academy (NJ) in the opening round of the Wildwood Boardwalk Classic Sunday night.   Virginia recruit Jocelyn Willoughby, rated in the top 50 high school players by ESPN, poured in 22 points to lead the Minutemen (3-0). Down 38-37 heading into the fourth quarter, the Lady Warriors (6-4) used a 20-6 finishing kick to lock up the win. Junior Ryan DeOrio collected 18 points on a trio of triples and added 6 rebounds to spark the Lady Warriors to an impressive 53-51 nonleague triumph over Lansdale Catholic on Saturday night. Warriors Lose: 45 - 55
The Lady Warriors had an upset in mind as they faced the unbeaten Perkiomen Valley Vikings.  Overcoming several double digit deficits, the Lady Warriors kept battling the much taller Vikings and found themselves tied at 44-44 with 4 minutes remaining.   But the Vikings used a 11-1 run down the stretch to take the victory. The Lady Warriors (1-1) were doomed by a slow start in dropping the championship game at the Lady Warriors Tip-Off Classic.  This was the third straight year Mount St. Joseph's and the Lady Warriors have met in the finals with the Mount taking all three titles.    The Lady Warriors, which got 12 points and 6 rebounds from all-tournament selection Jackie Cerchio, fell behind 16-2 after one quarter and was never able to make up the difference.
