Methacton’s Girls Tennis Team had a very strong season this year, winning the team PAC championship with an undefeated 10-0 season, 11-2 overall record. The team earned the team PAC Championship Title in a 6-1 win over Perkiomen Valley on 9/30/2024. In addition to the team PAC championship, this year’s top singles players, senior Anika Suresh and sophomore Chelsea Lian, took home the PAC doubles championship as well.

Even though they haven’t played together as doubles partners before, the pair of Suresh and Lian has gotten extremely close over the past year since they train at the same tennis clinic, Lian said.

The team was awarded the Athletic “M” award which recognizes the outstanding athletic achievements of teams that excelled in their sports during the 2024-2025 school year.

Interim Director of Athletics and Activities, Mr. John Conran, and Girls' Tennis Head Coach, Ms. Jill Walker-Federico, presented the Athletics "M" Awards to the Girls' Tennis team at the October 29, 2024 Meeting of the Board of Directors.
