Boys Varsity Track vs. Upper Darby Senior HS

Upper Darby Pa- Methacton Boys Track Team had a great showing for the opening of their spring season at the Upper Darby Relays on Saturday. The warriors garnered several medals on the day being led by the first place finish of the 4 x 100m relay team of Mike Torcini, Dan Tabor, John Keenan and Lucas Carr. The Distance Medley Team of Mike Clark, Joe Pacholski, Myles Hoven and Tom Chimes took home a second place finish and Alex Yablonski and Nick Olivieri combined their efforts to also finish second in the 300m Hurdle relay.
The team of Matt Varghese, Jake Peters, Will Rebert, and Kevin McCullough finished fourth in the 4 x 800m and the 4x1600m team of Nolan McMahon, Jack Kapralick, Garrett Campbell and Garrett McPhillips finished sixth. The freshman 4x 100m relay team of Alex Clark, Tom Heffernan, Matt Schwertfeger, and Jordan Layos finished eighth amongst a varsity field of 32 schools.
The team will open up their league this Wednesday hosting Boyertown and then travel to Hatboro Horsham for the weekend.
