Junior Sydney Tornetta posted a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds but it wasn’t enough as the 9 seed Lady Warriors fell short in the second round of the District 1-6A playoffs Thursday night at 8 seed Downingtown East 54-46.
The loss sends Lady Warriors (21-6), which got 14 points and three trifectas from Freshman Nicole Timko, into the consolation bracket Saturday at home against (17) CB East, needing two wins to reach the state playoffs.
