In a game threatened by inclement weather, an early kick-off proved an important decision in the visiting Warriors 3-1 win over the Owen J. Roberts Wildcats. The Warriors dominated play in the first half and their efforts paid off as they led 2-0 at halftime. Scoring for MHS was Braden Kavanagh, assisted by Otto Hull. The second goal was created by an impressive individual effort by Otto Hull, who snaked his way through the OJR defense. In the second half the Wildcats were able to notch a goal, but key saves by goalie Steven Remish proved the difference. The Warriors created numerous chances as forwards Aryaman Punshi and Zach Willen flank play torched the OJR defenders. The insurance goal came as Junior Captain Brayden Ahlum sent a through ball to Lucas Capelini for the final tally. 

The defensive corps of Senior Captain Graham Halfpenny, Quinton Stemler, Eddie Carbajal, and Cam Chilson maintained a solid line and they were assisted by Will Orcutt, Kyle Stralkowski, and Michael Willen. Defensive midfielders included Tony Paone and Zach Cho, who helped stymie OJR's offense.
