The Methacton Boys Basketball team lost to York High in the first round of the PIAA State Playoffs by a score of 67-63 on Saturday night. After trailing by as many as 18 early in the second half, Methacton rallied to trim the lead to 2 late in the fourth quarter, but couldn't get any closer. Matt Forrest led the scoring attack with 22 points, including 6 triples, while Justin Ardman and Brendan Casper joined him in double figures with 15 each. The Warriors finish the season with a record of 23-7.
