The Methacton Girls Lacrosse team pulled out a come from behind win against PV 11-8.  Methacton opened the scoring just over a minute into the game when Senior Danielle Schanbacher found fellow Senior Abby Devlin, who put the ball past the PV keeper for a 1-0 game.  The Vikings answered back with two quick goals before Devlin found the back of the cage again on a pass from Senior Emily Kellett for a 3-2 PV lead. The Vikings were able to get the draw and quickly score another goal and added an insurance goal right after to go up by two. Junior Anna-Marie Warrington was able to get the Warriors within one on a feed from Kellett but the Vikings answere back again with two more goals. Warrington and Schanbacher scored again for the Warriors before half, making the Vikings lead shrink to one, 6-5. 

PV was able to open the second half two goals at the 24:15 mark and 22:05 mark before Methacton started it's comeback. The Warriors held the Vikings scoreless for the last 22 minutes of the game. Senior Megan Nearing started the comeback by rolling the crease and beating the keeper for a 8-6 game. Devlin scored two more goals to tie the game a 8 all. Warrington took a pass from Devlin and scored what would be the game winning goal, while Kellett and Schanbacher added two insurance goals.

Sophomore Megan Gehret lead the team in ground balls and draw controls. Senior Rikki Moore finished with 9 saves on the day while collecting three ground balls. 

Before the game, the Warriors honored Seniors Emily Kellett, Megan Nearing, Olivia Ost, Kayla Murphy, Rikki Moore, Emily Woolston, Sara Watro, Nicole Rossi, Abby Devlin, and Danielle Schanbacher for their hard work and dedication for the past four years.

Methacton is now 13-4 overall, 11-2 in the PAC-10. The Warriors play their final game of the regular season Saturday at Ridley at 3:30 before preparing for the PAC-10 final four next week.
