PERKIOMEN VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL: 3
The Warriors defeated Perkiomen Valley today with a 10-3 score. Reed Hostrander was solid in relief, going 5 innings while allowing zero runs and yielding only a pair of single and walks over the stretch. He worked out of a bases loaded jam by inducing a 6-4-3 double play and then an inning ending fly out to center. The offense was paced by a 3 for 4 outing by Kyle Lowery who plated 4 runs in the afternoon. Danny Damato also went 3 for 4 and drove in 2, while Glenn Seymour went 2 for 4 (1 run, 1 RBI) and Trip Hagner went 1 for 2 but reached base in his other plate appearances, stealing 2 bases and scoring 3 runs. Solid defense as well as the Warriors turned 3 double plays, 6-4-3, 5-4-3 and 1-6-3 to work out of some tough innings. Next up JPJ at Latshaw Thursday night.
