The Girls XC Team traveled to Lehigh University to "race" the District course on Saturday October 1st in anticipation of the District One Championship Meet later in October (Friday the 28th). The Team battled some great competition, including Shenendehowa from Ohio...who won the event with 100 points..to finish 36th Overall of 42 scoring Teams. This event allows 10 Varsity Runners: 1-Jr Anna Price 142nd overall 20:35, 2-Soph Julia Malachowski 211th 21:18, 3-Soph Becky Sobeck 243rd 21:41, 4-Sr Ryan DeOrio 247th 21:44, 5-Fr Carly Ukalovic 252nd 21:47, 6-Jr Sarah Nicoletti 308th 22:52, 7-Fr Marina Daywalt 312th 22:55, 8-Fr Kristin Brycki 334th 23:44, 9-Fr Maddy Zeigler 338th 23:55 & 10-Fr Ellie Joseph 356th 24:54. The Winning Time was 17:21 Lydia Olivere from Padua Academy. There were 370 Girls "racing" at this event.
Next up, The Team will "race" at Warwick Park on Wednesday, Oct 5th against potential District representative OJR. This is a PAC-10 League event.
