The team suffered a tough loss to Harriton H.S.on their opponent's rain slicked field, 1-2. A late game penalty kick was the difference in a contest that Methacton had the better possession. Despite falling behind 0-1, the boys battled back and had several close chances that didn't cross the goal line. The attack of Bret Eberly, Trevor Rambo, Chris Meehan, and Andrew Kacala created numerous opportunities that were denied. However, the team finally found the back of the net in the second half. A free kick from Parker Stevenson bounced around in the 18 yard box and onto the foot of Ryan Sheridan who passed to his fellow defender, Logan Rambo, for the score. The team continued to pressure Harriton as solid performances by midfielders Michael Cinelli, Nick Dicciani, Max Chavez, Zach Stevenson, and Alex Abarca kept the Rams on their hind legs. Nick Ahlum, Luca Numerato, and Ryan Lloyd contributed steadfast defensive efforts. Goalkeeper Brian Desvars minded the nets for the Warriors. Despite all their efforts, the Warriors came up frustratingly short of victory. The Warriors begin league play Wednesday at Boyertown.
