The Golden Knights of West Chester Rustin visited the Warriors' Auxiliary Field on a cool and cloudy Saturday afternoon of September 8th. Despite falling behind a goal, the Warriors emerged victorious, 3-1.  The Warriors out shot their opponents, 15-6 but Rustin goalkeeper, Andrew DiStefano, turned away six goal scoring opportunities, some at point blank range. The Warriors tied the game from a goal by TJ Taylor on an assist by Trevor Rambo. TJ Taylor  then also netted the winning goal on a through pass by Parker Stevenson. Trevor Rambo finished with scoring by converting a free kick after he was tripped up just outside the penalty box by the Rustin keeper.  Tyler Andorn minded the nets for the Warriors and made one save.  Strong defensive efforts were turned in by Logan Rambo, Ryan Sheridan, Nick Ahlum, Luca Numerato, and Chris Rowland. In the midfield, Nick Dicciani, Michael Cinelli, Brett Eberly, and Zach Stevenson covered a lot yardage in the victory. Congratulations to the team on an impressive team effort.
