Coach Catania enters his 25th year as a high school coach his Fifth at Methacton. While coaching the distance runners at MHS, coach's athletes have broken 13 school records. Catania's experience also includes 16 years of coaching at the collegiate level. As a high school coach Catania has helped guide his athletes to attain 3 state championship team titles and at least one individual state champion in every event in track and field while producing 47 individual state champions. As a college coach, Catania has guided 108 athletes to all-conference status, along with 14 national qualifiers, 3 All-America athletes, 3 olympic trials qualifiers, and a two time NCAA National Champion. Coach C. is a Level III Certified expert in Endurance Events, a published author, and holds a Master of Science degree in Physical Education/ Exercise Science.
Biography:
Coach Stamm is a USATF Level 1 certified coach and has been coaching at Methacton since 2008. Under coach Stamm, Methacton's Sprinters, Hurdlers and relays have re-written the record books, setting new records in just about every event. Coach Stamm has led his athletes to District, State and National Competitions.
Stamm graduated from Methacton High School where he earned 9 Varisty Letters and was a team captain on the Football and Track Teams. He was also selected as a Team Captain in the Montgomery County All Star Football Game. Stamm garnered multiple All Area and All League honors In Football and Track.
Coach Stamm went on to Moravian College where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Sociology.
As an athlete, Stamm was inducted into the Moravian College Sports Hall of Fame as four year starter and member of the Division III National Playoff and Middle Atlantic Conference, Commonwealth Division Champion Greyhound Football Team.
Stamm was also a member of an undefeated Middle Atlantic Conference Championship Track and Field Team.
