No team summary for this season.
No practice Thursday and email alerts
Updated on 06/10/2022 | Jason Schulz
Parents/ Guardians,
We have decided to give the team another day off tomorrow, Thursday, October 16th. Practice will resume on Friday. The 9th grade team happens to be playing Thursday at the Lower Providence Township field at 3:45. We would like members of our team to attend the game if possible. Attendance is voluntary of course. It's a great opportunity to have fun and relax with teammates. At the same time, they will have the chance to see what it will be like to play in 9th grade, and to see their future teammates in action.
Please pass this message along to parents who may not be receiving email alerts. It has come to my attention that a large number of parents are still not getting them. I will have something for the boys to bring home on Friday that should finally solve this issue.

Parents Post Game Help
Updated on 06/10/2022
Dear parents,
We have two more games to cover, after 10/13, for snacks and drinks. We have had some great coverage. The kids really look forward to parents being there and supporting them. By providing snack and drink, we are guaranteed at least one parent of the 30 players to be involved at the game.
I want to thank the parents that have stepped up and provided snacks and drinks. I know, personally, that Eli appreciates it. These families include: Romanos, Burkhimers, Schultzs, Peebles, Richardsons, Weismans, Schneiders, Lauren (I’m sorry I don’t have your last name). I am looking for three more families to help support our kids. Please email me at dgweisman13@verizon.net if you have any questions or you just want to be added to the list.
Thank you,
Denise Weismsan
Today's game Part 2
Updated on 06/10/2022 | Jason Schulz
Parents/ Guardians,
I've just been informed by the athletics office that the schedule is incorrect. Today's game is being played at Boyertown Junior High School West, NOT the high school stadium. Sorry for the confusion.

Volunteer for Film Crew
Updated on 06/10/2022 | Jason Schulz
Parents/Guardians,
We really could use someone's help at games by taking video. Much of Wednesday's practices are spent watching the film with the team. It has been a very effective teaching tool for us in the past. If you would like to volunteer, please let me know.
Thank you for your consideration,
Coach Schulz
Pay to Participate
Updated on 06/10/2022
Parents,
It has come to my attention that a few members of our team have not turned in the Pay to Participate form and fee. If you have yet to do so, please have your child turn it in to me or Mr. Schnabel tomorrow, Monday, September 28th. Your child will not be allowed to participate until this fee is received. "Arcola Fee Information" may be found at http://www.methacton.org/domain/264. Please contact the Athletic Department directly if there is a financial hardship preventing you from paying.

Arcola Football Parents
Updated on 06/10/2022
Hi, I'm Denise Weisman, a proud parent of one of our football team members. I would like to help support our team during game days by providing them with snack and drinks after the game. I would like to organize a snack schedule. There are 30 players plus coaches. We have 6 game and one scrimmage left. If we could share some game/ scrimmage times, we can keep our costs down and still show our team that we support them. Please don't feel that you can't support them because you will be unable to make a game. We can work with partners and perhaps one of the partner can bring snacks. Please don't feel that this is an obligation. It is just one way to support our team.
Some suggestions have included soft pretzels, fruits, water and sports drinks.
Please contact me at dgweisman13@verizon.net by Saturday September 19th.
Let me know what you would like to bring and what is the best date for you to have this item available, and if you will have to coordinate with someone to bring the snack.
I will make a final schedule and send it out to everyone.
Thank you in advance,
Denise Weisman
Arcola Football Google Password
Updated on 06/10/2022
Yesterday the Arcola Football team received the password to join the team's Google Classroom. As you may already know, the code was incorrect. Only a small correction is necessary to make it work. The correct password begins t4b , the rest of the password they received is correct.

Updated on 06/10/2022
From: Mr. Schulz
To: Anyone who is planning to play on the 2015 Arcola Football team
It is very important that you prepare physically this summer for the football season. The following is a strength and conditioning program for you to follow https://docs.google.com/document/d/1UwRJ7f6njbiaK6Yfxjbov4CVK5bMxRTThCROMqhdEJo/edit?usp=sharing Training will not only help you have a successful season but will also help prevent injuries from occurring. Make sure that you read "Critical Points" very carefully and do what it says so that you get the most of the program. Start as soon as you can, no later than 6 weeks prior to the first practice.
