Congratulations to the Varsity and JV Cheerleading teams on their first competition at Plymouth Whitemarsh on January 8th! The JV Cheerleaders took second place in their division. The Varsity Cheerleaders took first place in their division. Also, the Arcola cheerleaders took first place in their division and won Best Choreography in the Middle School division. Congrats and great job to everyone!  

Couple of reminders to everyone!

If there is no school, there is no practice. If there is a 2 hour delay and activities are not cancelled, teams will practice as scheduled. 

Tumbling will be strongly recommended for Varsity cheerleaders for the 2011-2012 season! There are several local gyms that offer tumbling classes for all levels at a reasonable cost. Both teams are spending time at Revolution also, to work on tumbling. Please make sure you are working on your tumbling skills! 

The next competition is January 30 at CB West. The scheduled start time is 10 am. All three teams will again be performing! Come out and support the Methacton cheerleaders! 

No cheerleader should be practicing in spankies, per Deana and the Athletic Director. Spanks are considered undergarments, meant to stay under your skirt or shorts. You do not perform in them and therefore should not be practicing in them either. Please abide by this rule, no matter where you are practicing.
