47 days until our first practice! Hopefully some of you are already training for the season. If not, there is more than enough time to get prepared. I will have something for the next 6 weeks that will you have you completely ready to go.

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Athletes,

For those of you that have a child who plans to play next season, please make sure that you and your child have signed the last page of the football packet. This should be turned in by the last day of school. This document ("Parent/Athlete Letter") is found here http://methactonwarriors.org/index.cfm?action=main.teamfiles&id=21034.

Many kids have asked, "Will there be cuts?" The answer is maybe. It depends upon how many kids come out for the team. 42 is the magic number, more than that will require us to make cuts. We have not had to make any cuts the last 3 seasons. To have an answer, I need to know exactly how many athletes plan to play football for Arcola next season before the first day of practice on August 25th. This is one of the reasons why returning the signed document before the last day of school is so important.
