Warrior Wrestlers Take Second Upper Merion Tournament

The Warrior wrestlers finished in second place in the eight team field at the Franny Lutz Duals Tournament at Upper Merion High School this past weekend. Going 3-0 on the day were Grant Baker, Matty Shumaker, Levi Borkowski, Josh Cancro and Damain Moser.
In the quarterfinal round the Warrior matmen defeated Upper Dublin by a 55-15 score. Methacton winners were Ryan Hayes, Shane McQuaid, Ryan Bove, Grant Baker, Matty Shumaker, Levi Borkowski, Brody Borkowski, Cole Rotondo, Josh Cancro and Damian Moser.
The Warriors then routed Northeast High School in the semifinal round by a score of 60-18. Earning individual victories were Shane McQuaid, Josh Retzlaff, Joe Simko, Grant Baker, Matty Shumaker, Levi Borkowski, Brody Borkowski, Cole Rotondo, Josh Cancro and Damiam Moser.
In the championship match the Warriors lost a 37-36 heartbreaker to Plymouth Whitemarsh. Picking up wins were Joe Simko, Grant Baker, Matty Shumaker, Levi Borkowski, Josh Cancro, Damian Moser
