Methacton Girls Golf Wins PAC Championship
A massive congratulations to the Methacton Girls Golf team for winning the PAC Championship! What an incredible season for the Warriors, finishing with an amazing 8-2 record to win the title. Huge shoutouts to first year head coach Barbi Griffith! Additionally, Lauren Springman and Olivia Yoon advanced with the team to compete in the District tournament. Methacton Field Hockey Wins PAC Championship
A massive congratulations to the Methacton Field Hockey team for winning the PAC Championship over Boyertown in a tight 1-0 game! What an incredible season for the Warriors, finishing with an amazing 16-2-2 record. Huge shoutouts to Head Coach Amanda Parrezzi and Assistant Coach Kelly DeWan for leading this phenomenal squad. Other Season Accomplishments:Coach Parrezzi had her 100th career win against Upper MerionMaddie McKenney had her 300th career save against Oley. Her last save during PAC finals put her at 400 career saves.With her performance in the semifinal game against Pope John Paul, Lea DeWan became Methacton Field Hockey's all-time career assists leader, recording a total of 36 career assists.At the beginning of the season, both Lea DeWan and Maddie McKenney were named to the NFHCA (National Field Hockey Coaches Association) High School Watchlist. Methacton Fall Sports Raise Over $14,500 for Cancer Awareness
Throughout the start of October, many of Methacton’s fall athletic teams dedicated games and events to raising funds and awareness for cancer research. Girls Volleyball, Girls Soccer, Boys Soccer, Field Hockey, and Football each organized special initiatives to support meaningful causes and honor those affected by cancer.The Methacton Field Hockey team hosted its 12th annual Play for the Cure game on Tuesday, September 30. The initiative was founded in honor of former Methacton Field Hockey goalie coach Casey Leap, a cancer survivor. Each year, the team plays in support of Casey and all others impacted by cancer. Following the game, the team donates the funds raised to the National Foundation for Cancer Research. The Methacton Warriors celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week from September 30 through October 3, 2025. During the week, the Field Hockey and Girls Soccer teams hosted pregame ceremonies to recognize the lasting impact that Methacton teachers have had on their students. As part of the celebrations, each senior athlete selected a teacher who has made the greatest impact on their academic and personal growth, and those teachers were honored during the ceremonies.On Tuesday, September 30, the Girls Soccer Team recognized eight teachers before their game against Spring-Ford, highlighting the strong connections between Methacton’s educators and student-athletes. The Methacton Athletics Department celebrated a major milestone during Homecoming Weekend by inducting eight members of the Class of 2025 into the Methacton Athletics Hall of Fame. The special ceremony took place on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Methacton High School, ahead of the Warriors’ football matchup against Norristown.Athletic Director Taylor Parker and Hall of Fame Committee Member & former Athletic Director Paul Spiewak welcomed the eight honorees onto the field, where they were greeted by enthusiastic applause from more than 1,000 fans in attendance.Following the ceremony, over 80 friends and family members joined the inductees for a post-event celebration, marking an unforgettable evening that recognized athletic excellence, school pride, and community spirit.This annual tradition honors former student-athletes, coaches, and contributors who have made outstanding contributions to the Methacton athletic community—both on and off the field.New in 2025, the Hall of Fame Comm

Please join us in welcoming Meghan Brogan as Methacton’s new Head Varsity Softball Coach! Coach Brogan brings an incredible depth of experience, with decades of success in both softball and soccer, including multiple state championships at Conestoga and Downingtown West and more than 330 career wins. A USA Softball Hall of Fame inductee and former All-American at Saint Joseph’s University, she has led teams at every level while building a legacy of championship culture and player development.
