The Methacton Boys Basketball team defeated Pennridge High School by a score of 66-48 in the championship game of the Pennridge Tip-Off Tournament on Saturday night. Methacton led for most of the game, but early in the fourth quarter, Pennridge went on a run to cut the lead to 5. Matt Forrest answered the Pennridge run with back to back three pointers to push the lead back to double figures and Methacton never looked back. Brendan Casper led the way with 27 points and 10 rebounds, while Zach Jenkins and Matt Forrest each chipped in with 12 points. Next up for Methacton is a non-league contest at home vs. Souderton on Tuesday night at 7:00 PM.
