The Lady Warriors JV team moved their record to 9-3 on the season with a hard fought victory over Pope John Paul II.  It was the teams fourth straight win and seventh in their last eight games.  After jumping out to a 19-8 halftime lead, the Lady Warriors had to withstand an aggressive PJP attack in the second half.  PJP took a 29-27 lead with just over 2 minutes remaining.  The Lady Warriors would hold them scoreless the rest of the way and get a big basket by Casey Reid to tie the game, a free throw by Tejarra Ellis to take the lead and two big free throws by Kyra Dubost to put the Lady Warriors up three with 11 seconds remaining.  A three point attempt by PJP at the buzzer was off and the Lady Warriors prevailed.  Freshman Tejarra Ellis posted a double-double with 11 points,11 rebounds and also had 6 steals.  Freshman Kyra Dubost had 10 points.  Freshman Casey Reid had 7 points and 7 rebounds and Sophomore Amber Szkaradnik closed out the scoring with 4 points.  Freshman Sarah Picozzi had 8 rebounds and 4 blocked shots to help out in the win.
