The JV Lady Warriors led 17-15 at the half but a 12-5 3rd quarter advantage by the Mount did in the JV Lady Warriors who lost 33-30. The Lady Warriors had a three point shot at the buzzer to tie the game go off target as the team fought to the final buzzer. Freshman Caroline Pellicano nearly posted a double double with 9 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore Abby Penjuke netted 8 points and Freshman Sydney Hargrove tallied 7 points. Sophomores Dalia Layos and Sara Markley scored 2 points each and closing out the scoring were Junior Nicole Cooper and Sophomore Valentina Prince with 1 point each. The team is now 1-1 and travels to Spring-Ford Tuesday night to start PAC play.
