Arcola opened up the season with a 46-40 victory over PV West. Arcola was slow out of the gates getting outscored 13-7 in the first quarter. Arcola continued to force turnovers and hung around finally taking the lead in the 3rd quarter. Eric Kihle came off the bench and delivered 17 points. Brett Marberger added 11 points. Kyle Vance finished with 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Ryan O'Toole had 7 rebounds and gave excellent effort. Brandon Klyce had 8 rebounds as well.
