Methacton was held to a lone tally by Cody Ridgway on a Clay Sobocinski feed as they fell in the first round of district playoffs to Bishop Shanahan. This loss concludes the 2011 season for the boys lacrosse team who finished with a 13-7 record and the teams first district playoff appearance (18th seed).
Shanahan extended a 3-1 halftime lead to a final 7-1 score. The visiting Warriors were unable to generate and finish many opportunities and while the defense played well, were unable to defeat the 15th seeded Eagles.
