Offense leads Warriors to 16-3 Win

Methacton jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead and never looked back as seven different players found the net on the day.  Michael Delvecchio led all scorers with six points as he found the net five times and dished one assist.  He scored the game's first goal at the one minute mark by taking a nice inside roll and finishing the shot high.  Keith White added an uassisted tally two minutes later and Dom Germano made it 3-0 on a solo effort dodging down the alley.  

The Warriors took a 5-1 first quarter lead and added three goals from White, another Delvecchio score, and a last second shot by Nick Mazza to take a 10-3 lead into the half.  

Delvecchio opened the second half with a tally on a goal assisted by Owen Sullivan who went 10/13 on the day at the faceoff x.  Loius Cotteta, Ryan O'Toole, Sullivan, and Delvecchio closed out the scoring for the second half as the defense kept the host Phantoms scoreless through the last two quarters.  In goal Jake Blitzer earned the win in goal for the Warriors making three first half saves while not being tested in the second half. 

The Warriors outshot the hosts 25-19 while the ground ball battle was locked at 28 each.  However, the Warriors scored a decisive win at the faceoff x winning 17 of 21 faceoffs which led to a dominance in offensive possession.  

The Warriors return to action tomorrow as they play host to PJP II in another PAC-10 matchup before a Wednesday meeting against league leading Spring-Ford.
