Harriton handed the Warriors their first loss of the season in a non-league game Saturday defeating Methacton 17-10. The Rams jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead before the senior duo of Emily Kellet & Megan Nearing teamed up to tied the game at 3 all.  Harriton scored twice before Senior Danielle Schanbacher took a feed from Freshman Ellie Schmidt to make the score 5-4. Junior Anna-Marie Warrington and Senior Olivia Ost rounded up the scoring in the first half for the Warriors. Leading 9-6 at half, Harriton struck for the first two goals of the second half until Senior Abby Devlin found the back of the cage to make it 7-11. Harriton pulled away from Methacton scoring 6 goals to lead 17-8. Kellett finished up with 2 more goals sandwiched between a goal from Nearing.

Senior Rikki Moore had another great game in the cage with 16 saves. Junior Gabby Numerato lead the defensive effort with 3 controlled turnovers and 4 ground balls. 

Methacton is now 3-1 overall, 2-0 in the PAC-10.

The Warriors return to action with a league game Monday at Perkiomen Valley. Game time is 3:45. PV is coming off a 10-9 win at Owen J Roberts Friday night.
