The Warriors hammered visiting Pottsgrove for 19 goals while only allowing 2.  Methacton opened the game with a 6-0 run. Six different players found the back of the cage during the run. Senior Megan Nearing opened the scoring just over a minute into the game on a free position. Senior Emily Kellett followed 50 seconds later to put the Warriors up 2-0. Senior Sara Watro scored what proved to be the game winner on a nice feed from fellow Senior Kayla Murphy just 4 minutes and 25 seconds into the game.  Junior Anna-Marie Warrington, Senior Danielle Schanbacher, and Freshmen Ellie Schmidt finished up the scoring run before Pottsgrove's Rachelle Mewshaw fired home a shot from the 8 meter arc to put the Falcons on the board.

The Warriors would post another 4 goals before Pottsgrove could find an answer. Junior Megan Earley slammed home a Kellett feed from behind the cage for a 7-1 lead, followed by another goal from Kellett, Senior Olivia Ost, and Nearing for a 10-1 lead. Pottsgrove's Lauren Edmunds then rolled the crease and beat Warriors keeper Rikki Moore in the Falcon's second goal of the game.  The Warriors then clamped down on defense, not allowing Pottsgrove to even set up in a settled offense.

Methacton went on to score three more times before half, leading 13-2. Warrington had all three goals during the run. Sophomore Alexa Maloney, Kellett, Schanbacher, Schmidt, and Warrington would all score in the second half to put Methacton up 18-2 before Schmidt found Senior Emily Woolston, who dodged through several Pottsgrove defenders and fired home her first goal of the season with exactly 2 minutes left in the game.

Moore (6 saves, 2 goal against) and Junior Alyssa Rothman (1 save) combine for the win in the cage. Warrington and Senior Abby Devlin lead the Warriors with 4 ground balls each, while Kellett snagged 4 draw controls.

Methacton is now 9-1 overall, 7-0 in the PAC-10. The Warriors will host Boyertown Thursday at 3:45pm for a rematch of the past two PAC-10 Championship games. The Bears beat PJP 21-2 Wednesday to improve their PAC-10 record to 7-0, 7-4 overall.
