Methacton dropped a non-league game 4-14 against Merion Mercy Academy. Merion Mercy took a 5-2 halftime advantage and exploded for 9 goals in the second half. Down 0-1, Senior Abby Devlin redirected a high feed from Senior Danielle Schanbacher to put the Warriors on the board. With that goal, Devlin scored the 100th of her career. Merion Mercy was able to answer right back before Schanbacher dodged around a defender and beat the goalie. Down 2-5 at halftime, Methacton was able to get the draw and find a wide open Sara Watro who got the Warriors within two. Merion Mercy rattled off three more goals before Junior Anna Marie Warrington picked up a loose rebound, rolled the crease and placed a nice shot behind the goalie for a 4-8 game. Merion Mercy scored six unanswered goals to finish the game. Goalie Rikki Moore had 10 saves on the day, as well as collecting 4 ground balls. 

Methacton is now 11-3 overall, 9-1 in the PAC-10. Methacton travels to Boyertown for a PAC-10 matchup Monday Night, May 2nd at 7:30pm.
