Methacton lost a PAC-10 matchup to Boyertown Monday Night by a score of 13 to 4. Senior Sara Watro tied the game after Senior Emily Kellett checked the ball out of a Boyertown stick and Senior Kayla Murphy picked it up and transitioned it down to the Warriors attacking end. Watro was fouled by the Bears setting up the free position and beat the keeper for a 1 all game. Boyertown then went on a six goal streak to take a 7-1 lead. Freshman Ellie Schmidt found Sophomore Alexa Maloney alone in the 8 meter and fired a shot past the Bears goalie for a 7-2 game right before halftime.

Boyertown went on four goal streak before Senior Abby Devlin scored off a Boyertown over the back foul to make it 11-3 Boyertown. The Bears scored two more before Senior Megan Nearing scored the Warriors fourth and final goal of the game. Methacton Goalie Senior Rikki Moore stopped 15 Boyertown shots. Boyertown outshot Methacton 35 to 10.

Methacton falls to 11-4 overall, 9-2 in the PAC-10. There is no let down for the Warriors who will play their fourth game in five days Tuesday at Upper Perk. Game time is 3:45pm.
