Senior Kelly Glatthorn and Sophomore Sara Hughes combine for 8 goals and 3 assists but it wasn't enough as the Warriors fell to Owen J Roberts by a final score of 14 to 12. OJR went ahead early, scoring the games first three goals before Senior Ellie Schmidt put Methacton on the board. OJR and Methacton would trade goals before OJR went on another 3 goal run before Glatthorn scored the first of her three goals. Schmidt appeared to have her second goal of the game at the buzzer, but the goal was waived off. Trailing 9-4 early in the second half, the Warriors went on a run of their own, Hughes scored 3 goals and assisted Maddie Alderfer to bring Methacton within a goal, 9-8. OJR got one back but Hughes intercepted a goalie clear and deposited in the back of the cage to again pull within a goal. OJR and Glatthorn again traded goals before the Wildcats came away with two goals to go up 13-10. Hughes and Glatthorn got the Warriors within one again before OJR went into a stall and was able to find the cage again with less than 30 seconds left in the game. 

The Warriors return to action Friday at home against Pottsgrove at 5pm. Methacton will honor it's 6 seniors before the game.
