The Methacton Warriors opened their PAC-10 season at home with a 14-4 victory over Pottsgrove.  It was a very cold, blustery day and the Warriors got off to a poor start allowing four runs in the top of the 1st.  A fielding error, a walk and a hit batter loaded the bases for Pottsgrove with one out.  After a sac fly by Satchel Sciaretta and a single by Matt Miller, Tyler Hibbs cleared the bases with a 3 rbi double.  Methacton rallied to take a 6-4 lead in the bottom of the 2nd with rbi singles by Tim Carfrey and Zack Harmon, and rbi doubles by Kyle Lowery and Trip Hagner.  Anthony Santoleri was hit by a pitch and scored, and Tyler Kirkpatrick singled and scored the final run of the frame.  Methacton added another run in the bottom of the 3rd when Kyle Lowery walked, stole second and was singled home by Zack Harmon.  Methacton went ahead by ten by adding seven more runs in the 4th inning.  Singles by Clayton Harwick and Glenn Seymour, and a walk to Danny Damato, loaded the bases before Tim Carfrey pounded a 3 run triple.  Then Kyle Lowery singled Carfrey home, and Zack Harmon doubled Lowery home, before Trip Hagner singled and was brought home on a bases loaded walk.  Reed Hostrander started and went the distance for Methacton with no earned runs over five innings, scattering five hits.  Hostrander has earned both wins on the mound for the 2-0 Warriors.
