Springford retained sole possession of first place in the PAC-10 with an 8-2 victory over visiting Methacton. Springford pounded out 11 hits, and Tyler Eckman pitched a complete game, scattering four hits and striking out eight for the win. Methacton had grabbed an early 1-0 lead when Tyler Kirkpatrick led-off the game with a triple and scored on a ground ball. But Springford bounced right back with two runs in the bottom of the first when an error opened the door for Conner Klemann's two run double. Methacton tied the game in the fourth on Danny Damato's rbi single, but Springford bounced back again in the bottom of the frame with a run on two hits and a sacrifice fly. Springford took control of the game for good with a five-run sixth highlighted by Nick Fuhrmeister's two-run double, and rbi singles by Ryan Cass and David Gulati.
