The Methacton Warriors used three solo shot home runs, and a solid pitching performance by Tim Carfrey in his debut as a starter, to subdue the visiting Owen J Roberts Wildcats by a final score of 6-4.  After giving OJR the lead in the second on an unearned run, Methacton took a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the frame behind doubles by Kyle Lowery and Anthony Santoleri.  Methacton never trailed again using long balls from Clayton Harwick in the third, Austin Bregman in the fourth, and Tyler Kirkpatrick in the sixth.  The Wildcats did tack on three runs in the fifth inning when David Clay led-off with a double, Addison Bliss followed with a single and Dylan Gallagher added a two-rbi single.  Both Clay and Bliss had two hits on the day for OJR; Bregman had two hits and Kirkpatrick three hits for the Warriors.  Carfrey nearly went the distance in picking up the win, striking out seven, but departed with one out in the seventh inning with the bases full.  Trip Hagner came on and recorded a five pitch save, inducing the Wildcats clean-up hitter into a game-ending P-C-1B double play grounder.
