WARRIORS: 11
SPRING-FORD HIGH: 7

Keyed by clutch hits from Danny Damato and Kyle Lowery, the Methacton Warriors used a team effort to defeat the Spring-Ford Rams 11-7, and take sole possession of first place in the PAC-10.  Damato shot a line drive into right center with two outs in the third to give Methacton a 5-0 lead, but the biggest blow came from Lowery, who smoked a two-out, two-strike line drive single in the fifth as the Warriors retook the lead 7-6.  The Rams had committed five errors over the first three innings, during which the Warriors capitalized to score four unearned runs.  But the Rams fought back to take a 6-5 lead off Warriors' starter Mike Anthony, collecting seven base hits over the fourth and fifth frames - David Gulati's two run single and Connor Murphy's two-rbi double were the most damaging hits.   Trailing 8-6 after five innings, the Rams trimmed the score to 8-7 on Tyler Eckman's rbi grounder in the sixth of Warriors' reliever Trip Hagner.  Eckman had three hits and two rbi on the day.  Methacton added three insurance runs in the bottom of the sixth as Zack Harmon led-off with a single and was plated by Tyler Kirkpatrick's double.  Glenn Seymour and Clayton Harwick then followed with rbi singles.  Kirkpatrick, Harmon, and Seymour each had two hits for the Warriors, and Harwick had three hits and two rbi on the day.  Tyler Eckman recieved the loss for the Rams, finally chased in the bottom of the sixth after a 12-pitch at-bat by Tim Carfrey.  Trip Hagner earned the win with 2 2/3 innings of hitless relief for the Warriors.
