Reed Hostrander pitched a gem as the Methacton Warriors won a semi-final game in the PAC-10 Final Four over the Phoenixville Phantoms by a final score of 10-1. Hostrander needed only 81 pitches to hurl a complete game - scattering six singles and walking none. The Warriors jumped on the board early with a two-rbi single by Clayton Harwick in the first, and rbi singles by Tim Carfrey and Glenn Seymour (two hits on day) in the second to make it 4-0. Carfrey had a second rbi single in the fourth inning as Methacton stretched the lead to 5-0. The Warriors busted the game open in the bottom of the sixth, putting up a five-spot. Danny Damato cleared the bases with a three-rbi double over the right fielder, which was followed by a rbi double from Kyle Lowery and a rbi single by Anthony Santoleri (three hits on day). The Phantoms got their sole run on a rbi single by Chris Demey in the sixth that scored DH Jordan Valenteen (two hits and a run on day).
