Girls Varsity Cross Country at The Bulldog Invitational

The Bulldog Invitational is an excellent XC event because it offers 3 "races"...Varsity, JV & a Girls Novice race for 9th & 10 graders. The Girls Novice race was up 1st and the XC team finished 3rd of 4 Teams. This group was lead by Fr Maria Clark (17th/54 runners), Fr Ellie Joseph (19th/54) & Marina Daywalt (20th/54). Next up was the Varsity race. The XC Team finished 5th of 6 Teams. They were lead by Jr Anna Price (14th/42 Runners), Fr Carly Ukalovic 21st/42) & Sr Ryan DeOrio (22nd/42). The last race of the event was the JV race. The JV Team finished 2nd of 6 Teams. They had 4 Runners in the Top 10 Finishers lead by Fr Maddy Ziegler who WON the race, Fr Kristin Brycki (2nd/47 runners), Soph Julia Malachowski (3rd/47) & Fr Reese O'Brien 10th/47). The Team will race next on Wednesday, Sept 14th, hosting a tough Spring-Ford XC program.
