The Girl's X-C Team traveled to Lehigh University on Friday Sept. 28th to watch and race in the prestigious Paul Short Run.   This event is unique because it combines a College Invitational and a High School Invitational on the same course on the same day.   This year's Team was able to reconnect with past Teammates who are running at the College level.   They get the chance to race the District I Championship course a month early...the District I Championship will be held at Lehigh on Friday Oct. 26th.

The Paul Short Run offers HS Coaches the chance to race 10 Varsity Runners instead of 7 Varsity Runners.   This year there was 43 Teams in the Girls (Brown) Race which had 384 Total Runners.

The X-C Team is a little battered right now missing 3 Varsity Runners...(Sr. Brianna Earnshaw, Jr. Kristen Sprayberry & Fr. Abby Konkoly) but this allowed 3 alternate Runners to race at this event...(Sr. Vanessa Fulton, Jr. Rachel Rodden & Jr. Amber Szkaradnik).
